Today is a good day.
For starters, the sun is shining, which always puts me in a lovely mood. Secondly, the first installment of my weekly column ran on Essence.com this morning. Oh, and I’m heading out for a spicy tuna roll in a matter of minutes, too. Joy, joy, joy! I’m a very happy girl on this Thursday.
OK, back to the column. I’m still working out the kinks, brainstorming on a proper title and trying to think of clever words & ideas to bless the masses with every Thursday, but I’m excited about the possibilities. With that in mind, I decided to kick things off with a story about one of my favorite actresses, Jenifer Lewis, who once schooled me on the importance (and benefit) of always bringing your A-game.
