OK, anybody who knows me well knows that I’m not <\/span>a fan of brisk temperatures. So imagine my shock yesterday when I boarded Delta flight #1136 at Ontario International and the pilot said that it was 19 degrees<\/span> in Salt Lake City. I gasped! Luckily my coat and gloves are warm, but sadly, I have no<\/span> idea where my new hat (the one with the warm over-the-ear flaps) is.<\/p>\n

So, am here, in the fabulous Hotel Park City catching up on some work before I meet my people on Main Street. Had a 9 o’clock screening this morning, but unfortunately, I could not get myself up & out in the snow in time. Needless to say, I’m totally ashamed of myself. But this afternoon, I hope I can make good by stopping by the opening reception for Blackhouse Foundation<\/a>, spearheaded by my dear friend, Brickson Diamond. Am so looking forward to that. Then there are gifting suites and some chandelier-swinging later on.<\/p>\n

Wait, before I go on, let me back up a minute. Last night, we went to Chef Dance…hmmm, how can I describe it? Well, each night, a guest chef from a prestigious kitchen comes in and whips up a 4-course something, something for the room. We had the most heavenly lentil soup with black truffles to start, then smoked salmon, veal (which I had to pass on) and a fig & tart cherry-laden dessert. Needless to say, I was tres happy. Then we headed up to HarryO’s for an Akon performance, but due to some technical issues at the venue, he had yet to step on the stage by the time we hailed a cab at 12:45. 50 Cent is scheduled to be here tomorrow, which could be interesting since we haven’t really heard from Curtis in a minute.<\/p>\n

Am determined to check a few things off the almighty to-do list before I head out this afternoon. Did I mention how beautiful the landscapes are? When viewed at a distance from a warm, cozy room, snow really is<\/span> quite beautiful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
