The artist entitled it <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Pensive.<\/span> I&#8217;m right there.<\/p>\n<p>There are so many thoughts racing through my mind that I can barely make sense of it all. I suppose watching this <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Steve Harvey<\/span> marathon on BET isn&#8217;t exactly helping the process, but for some reason, I can&#8217;t seem to turn the channel away from Steve, Regina, Lovita Alize Jenkins and Cedric Jackie Robinson. This show was hilarious.<\/p>\n<p>Christmas will be upon us in just four days. The New Year, a week later. 99.5% of my holiday cards have been mailed and I have but one remaining gift to purchase, which I can do tomorrow, but really, I&#8217;m not ready quite ready for the holidays to be here. I guess I just can&#8217;t believe that another year has flown by. But then again, if I do the math, we are officially at 355 days, and counting.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve yet to actually put pen to paper to write down my resolutions because they&#8217;re free-flowing around in my head. Without giving too, too much away, I&#8217;ll say that the majority of my resolutions involve the idea of &#8220;more&#8221; &#8211; read more, do more, write more, get out more, love more, explore more, live&#8230;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">more<\/span>. Rather than putting a unfair amount of pressure on myself to get started on January 1st, I&#8217;ve been trying to work my way up so that by the time the clock strikes midnight on the 31st, I&#8217;ve already put my plans into motion.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s just so much to do in this life.
