I, for one, can admit that I know more about people who I don&#8217;t even <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">know<\/span> than I do a few of my friends. We all do. It&#8217;s really becoming a bit much.<\/p>\n<p>That said, I found this <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">US Weekly<\/span> cover of Lindsay Lohan to be particularly disturbing. I haven&#8217;t read the story, but online reports suggest that she actually participated, willingly, in the story&#8230;via e-mail and phone calls, during which she was weeping.<\/p>\n<p>This girl is clearly in need of help, but it seems that &#8220;they&#8221; won&#8217;t be happy until they&#8217;re reporting on her funeral arrangements. <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Then<\/span> what?<\/p>\n<p>On the flip-side, I should mention that there are a number of Hollywood types who&#8217;ve been known to court the media. Many thrive off of a steady stream of attention.
