So, this guy is singing Everything Must Change<\/span> on the corner, with mic and guitar, and I stopped in my tracks. He just threw in his own ad lib, “Don’t be afraid of change…”<\/p>\n

The simplest words can usually do a number on me. I’ve always loved that song, even before I really understood the message. Now, the lyrics<\/a> make so much more sense. I can admit that I am a fan of nearly every version I’ve heard, including Quincy, Chaka and Simply Red’s<\/a> beautiful rendition. How is it possible that she sings just as fabulously in another language? Love her. Did I mention that I used to try to channel Chaka, hard<\/span>, when I was a kid? I think it was the big hair. She always served.<\/p>\n
