There’s no greater reward than seeing three magazines stuffed in one’s mailbox, on the same day. Seriously. That said, yesterday was a great day for me.
Bazaar was in there, so was Self, but imagine the pride I felt when I ripped the plastic off of my October issue of More magazine. I know that the powers-that-be are trying to do some jedi mindtricks on us with the McCain/Palin okey-doke maneuver (for the record, I find Palin to be quite scary and out-of-touch), but seeing Michelle Obama on the cover of this very mainstream publication speaks volumes to me. V-o-l-u-m-e-s.
I’m supposed to be writing (wait, I am writing!), so I will treat myself to reading this cover story – in it’s entirety and sans interruption – before the clock strikes midnight tonight.
